About

Willie joined the Carolina University Family in the summer of 2020. He moved from Omaha, Nebraska where he served as the Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Nebraska Christian College. At NCC he relaunched the Athletic Department and led the Men's Basketball Team to back to back Regional Tournament Championships. Before his time at NCC, he served as the Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Grace University.

Here at CU, Willie led our Men's Basketball Team the first two years where they embarked on a historical season going 22-7, winning the South Regional Tournament Championship, and finishing 3rd at the National Tournament. Coach Williams was named Regional Coach of the year. During this time, Willie also served as the Associate Dean of Students working alongside Dr. Steve Condon in Campus Life.

Currently, Willie serves as the VP of Student Affairs here at CU where he oversees Athletics, Campus Life, the Beth Ashburn Center for Student Success, and the Den (Student Center). He is married to Kendra and they have four children, Tre, Carter, Drake, and Ahria.
